Hasselt, Belgium Nestled in the vibrant city of Hasselt, Belgium, Has Hotel is recognized for its modern charm and welcoming atmosphere. To amplify the property’s visual appeal and set it apart in this dynamic locale, Shimmerwalls collaborated closely with the hotel to design and install a stunning 25-square-meter sequin facade in radiant gold. This project showcases Shimmerwalls' unique expertise in transforming architectural facades into mesmerizing displays of light and movement, making a lasting impression both day and night.
Golden Micro-Sequin Facade This standout facade was created with 547 specially crafted Shimmerwall panels, each fitted with 256 micro gold sequins. In total, more than 140,000 sequins were meticulously arranged to bring the Has Hotel exterior to life, creating a captivating visual experience that responds organically to natural elements like sunlight and breeze. The golden sequins add a layer of luxurious sheen to the hotel’s exterior, while inviting viewers to experience its vibrant shimmer from multiple angles. Crafted for resilience, each sequin is engineered to endure the elements, ensuring that the installation’s brilliance endures in all weather conditions. The result is a kinetic, glistening facade that not only enhances the visual appeal of Has Hotel but also reinforces its reputation as a chic boutique destination in Belgium’s Limburg province.
