This large Shimmerwall was part of the Event as a photography background and was decorated to reflect the Ambassadors hometown, the event theme was “New York, New York”, the backdrop was used externally in the beautiful grounds of Winfield House. Our team at Shimmerwalls worked with the designers for the event to produce this New York skyline in a graduated colour mix of sequins from reds to copper to golds to reflect colours of the New York skyline. For this design our 15mm sequins (5/8”) were used on black backing boards. An overlay cut-out of the New York skyline was added over the bottom part of the sparkling wall so the shimmering discs could be seen between the buildings and then the sequins graduated into a golden shimmering skyline, creating a three-dimensional shimmering effect. As the photography background was used externally, they had a lot of movement and light reflection on the discs which made the background a very popular place for guests to take some memorable images and movies. |
