How to decorate your Pride Event this Summer

We are finding that we are providing more bespoke Shimmerwalls that are being used to decorate Pride Events in the UK and also in US and Canada this year. Shops, bars, Events and Parade floats have all kept us busy in the run-up to this Summer’s most colourful months.

Pride Event colours;

In fact, we find this such a busy period with so many last minute orders we keep an extra stock of our Pride colour sequins.

Our stock colour sequins of red, copper, yellow gold, Bright green, royal (mid) blue and royal purple match the Pride colours really well.
Displays made with our sequins are being used in stores and are also being used on the Pride Parade Floats in London, Brighton and Toronto this year so keep an eye out for them.

How to put up your sequin wall and yes you can re-use it many times!

We love it when you reuse our Shimmerwall displays in several locations as they are easily moveable, just ask us how! Hint: We are loving the large glue dots right now for their flexibility and they come off cleanly, so are great for events where the boards may only need to be up for a few hours ( always test your surface first), then just pack them back in their boxes with their protective sheets and move to next location or store for your Pride Event Decoration next year.
We don’t (obvs) recommend glue dots if you are using the boards on a parade float so in that instance use the glue dots and then drill one screw through each board just so you can be sure it’s not going to fall off midst Parade.

If you want shapes, we can laser cut them;

Not all of our clients realise that we can also help you make shapes. If you give us a nice plan, or for an extra charge we can do for you, we can cut your sequin boards to any shape, which allows you more flexibility with your design. We have a lovely example here where we cut the boards on an angle for this Event.

Decorating your Pride Event
