Hi Paula,

Why do you love sequin wall art?
I have always really loved art and anything that catches the eye and makes the world more beautiful and interesting visually. Metallic sequins shimmering when a little air touches them are truly captivating.

What gets you excited about Shimmerwalls the most?
Our smaller 15mm sequins give everyone the potential to make highly detailed pictures and I can't wait to see what our customers do with them creatively. The weeks ahead are going to be really exciting.

What's special about what you are doing?
Our concept here at Shimmerwalls is to encourage as many people as possible to see it, fall in love with it and then of course want one of their own. With our design app every piece that is created is truly unique. Our Shimmerwalls are not only seen in homes, but can be used for visual merchandise or events signage.

How has Shimmerwalls evolved from your original idea?
When I first decided to set up this business I was just going to sell the sequins and boards and not get involved in making up pictures. Now it has evolved into making up pictures for those that want us to and providing our own gallery of pictures that we make up onto canvasses or you slot the boards together and stick on your wall.

What's next?
As I have mentioned before, visual merchandise is an important area of what we are doing and the entire B2B market, including events, exhibitions, fairs or hotels. We are also hoping to forge some great partnerships with artists that are excited by the Shimmerwalls concept and want to work with us – if you are one, do get in touch we would love to hear from you!
