Spectacular Shimmerwall steals the show at the SAG Awards

​The Screen Actors Guild awards have been one of the most popular events in Hollywood since its first ceremony in 1995. It is an occasion held to recognise the outstanding performances and achievements of actors in film and television. This year’s SAG Awards was attended by a wide range of celebrities such as Margot Robbie, Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hanks.
 
The SAG awards are known for its invite-only, celebrity filled award event, so it was only necessary to surround the centre stage and photo area with shimmering sequin panels to bring that extra luxurious touch to the venue.
 
The two Shimmerwalls we produced for the event measured 202 feet2 (nearly 20m2) and consisted of 640 sequin panels and a grand total of 163,840 silver and gun metal sequins. It served as the background for hundreds of photos taken of the celebrities and published all around the media networks. The SAG awards rack in 2.7 million viewers each year so our shimmer panel display most definitely caught the eyes of many viewers around the world.
