British Audio company Cambridge Audio came to us to provide a feature wall for their “Melomania” music event space in central London. “Jumping Jack Flash” was commissioned based on original artwork by celebrated artist John Dyer, with the design representing the sound wave of the Rolling Stones’ famous song which dominated the UK and US charts in 1968 when the company was born. We translated this design from a JPEG artwork into a sequin art wall and our assembly team in London produced and installed it. The large sequin wall measures 5m x 2.8m (16’x 9’) all made from 15mm metallised foil sequins – over 57,000, placed by hand. |
