Working with a private client and his architect, we created a stunning sequin wall in gold on the wall of a high-rise private residence. Our 15mm micro sequins in popular rose gold paillettes were specified for their brightness and subtlety creating a feature wall that delivers an immediate “wow” on entering the room. We used our transparent boards to allow the white back wall colour to shine through from behind the shimmering discs and allow a gentler background that doesn’t clash with the rose gold. The result is a wall that is not only attractive but is also rich and visually alluring. This transformed what was previously a plain painted wall into a 2.6m high x 5.5m (8’ x 15’) wide Shimmerwall, all made from 15mm metallised foil discs – over 60,000, placed by hand.
